North Leland Lake (part of the Leland Lakes) lies in northern Alberta near the boundary with the Northwest Territories, with the nearest sizable community being Fort Chipewyan; the lake supports lake trout, walleye, northern pike and yellow perch. Open all year and bait is allowed; species limits are: walleye — 3 over 43 cm, northern pike — 3 over 63 cm, lake trout — 3 fish, yellow perch — 15 fish, lake whitefish — 10 fish (subarea NB4).
