NB4: Clearwater River - Alberta Fishing

Clearwater River is a stream in subarea NB4 of northeastern Alberta, near Fort McMurray; entries cover the mainstem (upstream and downstream of the Christina River) and the Snye Channel. The fishery is open June 1 to Oct. 31 and bait is allowed. Regulations by segment: mainstem downstream of the Christina River — walleye 3 over 43 cm, northern pike 3 over 63 cm, mountain whitefish 5 over 30 cm, burbot 10 fish, goldeye 10 fish; mainstem upstream of the Christina River — walleye 3 over 50 cm, northern pike 3 over 63 cm, mountain whitefish 5 over 30 cm, burbot 10 fish; Snye Channel — walleye 3 over 43 cm, northern pike 3 over 63 cm, mountain whitefish 5 over 30 cm, burbot 10 fish, goldeye 10 fish.
