Crawling Valley Reservoir

Crawling Valley Reservoir is a 22.2 km² lake in Alberta, about 8 km west of the hamlet of Gem and 10 km northeast of Bassano. Alberta's fish inventory records walleye, northern pike, yellow perch, rainbow trout, brook trout, brown trout, mountain whitefish, lake whitefish, cisco and burbot, plus six other species. Alberta's 2022 Fish Sustainability Index rated adult walleye density moderate and adult northern pike density low. Walleye harvest requires a special harvest licence.
