ES2: Dogpound Creek - Alberta Fishing
Dogpound Creek is a small stream in Alberta’s Rocky Mountain foothills west of Calgary (subarea ES2), with fishing on the mainstem and its tributaries. Bait is prohibited; the creek is open Apr 1–Jun 15 and Sept 1–Oct 31 but retention of trout and mountain whitefish is prohibited during those periods, while from Jun 16–Aug 31 anglers may keep 2 trout (total), up to 5 mountain whitefish with a minimum length of 30 cm, and brown trout may only be retained if over 40 cm.
