ES1: Ghost River - Alberta Fishing
Ghost River is a mountain stream on Alberta’s eastern slopes of the Rockies in southwest Alberta, northwest of Calgary near Exshaw/Canmore. For the mainstem and tributaries (except Waiparous Creek) in subarea ES1 the river is open June 16–Aug 31 and Sept 1–Oct 31, and bait is prohibited in both periods. From June 16–Aug 31 no trout may be retained (0 trout) and mountain whitefish may be retained up to five fish over 30 cm; from Sept 1–Oct 31 no trout or mountain whitefish may be retained (0 fish).
