Skeleton Lake is a lake in northern Alberta, northeast of Athabasca near the town of Boyle, popular for walleye, northern pike, yellow perch and lake whitefish; the fishery is open to angling May 15 to Mar 31. Regulations: open May 15 to Mar 31; bait allowed (source note: "Bait except bait fish allowed"); species limits — walleye 1 fish (50–55 cm), northern pike 1 fish (63–70 cm), yellow perch 15 fish, burbot 10 fish, lake whitefish 10 fish.
