ES4: Snipe Lake - Alberta Fishing
Snipe Lake is a lake in northwestern Alberta (subarea ES4), roughly between the communities of Grande Prairie and High Prairie. The main lake is open May 15 to Mar. 31 with bait allowed; tributaries and the outlet (1 km downstream) are open June 1 to Oct. 31 and are under a bait ban. Species limits: walleye 1 over 50 cm, northern pike 1 fish 63–70 cm, yellow perch 5 fish, burbot 10 fish, lake whitefish 10 fish.
