PP2: Wabamun Lake - Alberta Fishing
Wabamun Lake lies in west-central Alberta near the village of Wabamun, about 60 km west of Edmonton. The fishery is open May 15 to March 31; bait is permitted but live bait fish are prohibited. Walleye require SHL tags or are limited to one fish 50–55 cm, northern pike are prohibited, burbot have a two-fish limit but are closed Feb 1–Mar 31, and lake whitefish have a five-fish limit.
