Berland River

Berland River (mainstem downstream of Hwy 40) is a foothills stream in western Alberta, north of Hinton, accessible from Highway 40 and supporting typical trout and warmwater species. Regulations (subarea ES3): open Apr 1 to Oct 31 with a bait ban; mainstem only downstream of Hwy 40. Species limits: walleye 3 over 50 cm; northern pike 3 over 63 cm; mountain whitefish 5 over 30 cm; rainbow trout 0 fish (no retention); brook trout 0 fish (no retention).
