Mainstem sections from the Banff boundary downstream to Timber Creek and from Timber Creek downstream to the Forestry Trunk Road are open Apr 1–Aug 31 with a bait ban (limit 2 trout total and up to 5 mountain whitefish over 30 cm) and open Sept 1–Oct 31 with a bait ban but no retention allowed for trout or mountain whitefish (zero limit); tributaries from the Banff boundary downstream to and including Timber Creek are closed year‑round.
