ES2: Prairie Creek - Alberta Fishing

Prairie Creek is a stream in subarea ES2 in west‑central Alberta, located near Rocky Mountain House. Bait is banned throughout the creek and northern pike are limited to 3 fish. Regulations by segment and season: the upstream mainstem and most tributaries (except Swan Creek and tributaries between Vetch and Swan) are open Apr 1–Aug 31 with a 2‑trout daily limit and mountain whitefish limit of 5 over 30 cm, then Sep 1–Oct 31 in that same area trout and mountain whitefish are closed (0); the portion between Vetch and Swan Creeks is open Apr 1–Aug 31 with trout and mountain whitefish closed (0); the remainder of the mainstem downstream of the North Fork Road (excluding the Vetch–Swan portion) is open Apr 1–Oct 31 with trout closed (0) and walleye limited to 3 fish, minimum size 50 cm.
