James River

James River (mainstem and tributaries) is a stream in west‑central Alberta near the town of Sundre, providing a small seasonal fishery. Open Apr. 1 to Oct. 31 with a bait ban (subarea ES2); limits are 2 trout total, walleye 0 fish (no retention), northern pike 3 fish, and mountain whitefish 3 over 30 cm.
